Don’s adventurous family inspired him to start diving at age 16, beginning with a challenging checkout dive in a cold, murky quarry—a rocky start that led to a transformative week diving in Bermuda’s clear, shallow waters filled with wrecks.
As Beyond Bora Bora’s South Pacific Scuba Specialist, Don is dedicated to exploring and sharing the region’s most spectacular underwater experiences. From the exotic reefs of French Polynesia and Fiji to hidden dive gems across the South Pacific, Don provides expert insights to help divers of all levels discover the best sites, marine life encounters, and unique underwater adventures.
With certifications in Advanced Open Water, Deep Diver, NITROX, and Rescue Diver, Don brings firsthand knowledge of diverse dive conditions, safety protocols, and marine ecosystems. He is currently advancing his expertise by working toward his Master Diver certification.
